Why choose our Sports Performance program?:
The Better Body Shop’s Sports Performance Facility has been specifically designed, staffed and equipped to excel in catering for the strength and conditioning needs of teams and clubs. Based on the proven model of U.S. University Strength and Conditioning Departments this unique facility allows entire teams, squads or clubs to carry out their strength and conditioning training together. We guide players through each of the phases of their periodised in or off season training program. We look after all levels of teams and clubs from the novice to the elite and from juniors to masters athletes.
This is the perfect environment to vastly improve your team’s strength, speed, agility, coordination and muscular control, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance and power.
In an age where strength and conditioning are a necessary element to achieve the competitive edge, you want to be in an environment with the best strength and conditioning coaches and facilities. Tom Daly in the 2010 Sports Personality of the Year Awards directly attributed his success to his strength and conditioning coach for giving him that extra element to be the best and to give you the edge over your competitors. The Better Body Shop facility allows teams to continue winter technique training indoors while the tracks and fields are covered in snow . As a client once said, “it does not matter where you do your strength and conditioning until you come up against someone who trains at The Better Body Shop”.
We are also aware of the communication required across all elements of a competitor’s coaching team and provide onsite physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities with experienced sports physiotherapists who work closely with all our exercise specialists and strength and conditioning coaches.
