Yoga Specialist
When Brenda had a stressful job in accountancy and a long daily commute she found that yoga kept her fit and flexible and was also a great way to relax. Now she has taken a lifestyle change in order to concentrate on teaching yoga and passing on its benefits to others.
Brenda is keen to introduce yoga to sports people and gym users who might not have considered it before. Yoga not only builds strength and flexibility but also body awareness, thus preventing injuries, and provides techniques which focus and calm the mind – particularly useful in competitive and team sports.
Brenda’s style is interactive and enthusiastic and her classes are geared to the requirements of her students. She is thrilled to be joining the Better Body Shop team – some of them have enjoyed a yoga lesson with her, so ask them for feed back and sign up!
Brenda has practiced yoga for over 10 years, has a teaching diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga and is a REPs registered instructor. She is also the West Kent Deputy Representative for the British Wheel of Yoga which involves running courses and training days for fellow teachers, in the process getting to meet some of the UK’s most well known yoga teachers.
